First established in 1979 by Mike Tibbatts, Tibbatts & Co Ltd is a small specialist surveying practice based in the centre of Wimbledon. Mike Tibbatts qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) in 1971. His focus is the residential sector. In addition to being a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and a registered RICS Valuer, Mike Tibbatts is a Member of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP). He is also an accredited expert witness and holds the Cardiff University/Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate.
We work mainly with flat owners who want to extend their leases or acquire their freeholds. As experts in party wall matters and procedures we assist home owners seeking to extend their properties, as well as neighbours who might be affected by property alteration and extension proposals. We provide building defect diagnostic advice and can also be called on to present expert witness evidence.
